As a qualified level 3 personal trainer, who also has certifications in PPSC and Pre/Post Natal, I believe that movement is essential for a healthy lifestyle. However, I do not believe in forcing yourself to do forms of exercise that you hate or that you think you 'should' be doing. 

As your personal trainer, I believe in working with you to find a combination of exercise modalities that will not only help you achieve your goal but are also forms of movement that you enjoy (and more importantly, will stick to) while benefiting your body for the long-term.

nutrition

I am a certified nutrition coach, as nutrition is a vital to our health. Properly feeding ourselves benefits our hormones, our muscles, joints, organs and helps us to reach our fitness goals, whatever they may be.

As someone who has previously struggled in their relationship with food, I strongly believe food is FUEL and understanding how to best fuel yourself is key!

Remember, even if every person on the planet ate the same, we'd still all look different.

I actually got my fitness qualifications after getting my Bachelors and Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology. Mental health has always been something I've been passionate about and I'm glad the fitness industry has been talking about it more recently. 

The mind to body connection is fascinating. A lot of people talk about the benefits exercise has on our mental health. However, I am more passionate about how we speak to ourselves, especially in regards to our bodies and how that rhetoric affects our mental health/body image.
